An update on United Utilities progress throughout February 2024 on the Vyrnwy Aqueduct Modernisation Project.
Area 03 Update:
• Slip lining (Line 1 of the aqueduct) between Stone
House Lane (AP1027) and Moss Lane (AP1037)
commenced 12/02/24, for up to 16 weeks. Community
drop in session held on Thursday 8th February to inform
local stakeholders of our plans, with feedback received
on our plans.
• Temporary road closure proposed along Peckforton Hall
Lane in late April 2024 whilst completing essential work
within the highway, subject to Local Authority approval
(No restrictions to any residential access during this
work). We’ll be working closely with those affected by
these plans.
• Temporary Public Right of Way footpath closure and
diversion in place whilst competing work at AP1036
(Moss Lane). Footpaths to be reinstated whilst not
working at location.
